Apparently my tablet pen had fallen down the side of Kithal's car.  Apparently he has told me about this many times.  I do not remember this at all.

But I have my tablet pen, which makes me happy. Tomorrow I will draw up the prototype of ZMS (Zombster Mobile Suit).  I have absolutely no love for Gundam or any giant robots for that matter.  However, the thought of a giant hamster robot with our beloved Hambie on his shoulder makes me giggle uncontrollably.

Note: I do love giant robot series, such as Gurren Lagann.  For me it is the plot above all else, not the metallic suits.

If someone could find my lost intuos pen, I will love you forever.  I think it may have gotten lost in the Zombster move.  bleh  I have a lovely intuos tablet, but no means to use it.

I'm in the third term (of six) of Animation Mentor.  I still keep thinking I am not worthy.  So much of what we're covering should've been covered in the uni degree and yet wasn't or was glazed over.  Bleh.  My website has my updated AM showreel.  Sadly, aside from the store and AM consuming my life, not much art gets done.

Finally we're opening our doors for business.  Not all of our stock is in yet.  (An entire department is arriving in the country tonight.)  But we do have Bluray, Manga and Bags.  And we will have catering for our Grand Opening.  (Everyone loves food.)

It's a zombie hamster, not a wombat as some may wish to believe.

We signed the lease.  We have the keys.  The place is a freaking mess.  (Cafes and restaurants have the grossest kitchens.)  Can't exactly say when everything will be ready for opening.  Need to schedule construction, painters and outfitters and we have a public holiday this week to get in the way of things.

Sidenote: If you google Zombster Google will ask you if you meant lobster.  I so want to do a zombie lobster spoof.

Why yes it is 5 am in the morning.  Why yes I'm already awake (why yes I've already slept.)  Freaking "I'm only going to sleep half the night" body.

We have lease papers.  Error-ridden lease papers, but lease papers nonetheless.  We're that much closer to getting our project off the ground.  A lot of paper work still needs to be done.  Still shooting for an opening on August 19th.  I've already been told I have to work Tuesdays and weekends.  Bleh.  If you come by, you're likely to find me in the back room working in Maya, waiting for the off chance that the store is busy enough to require my presence in the front.

Being your boss' partner gives you that right.  Also the fact that you're not likely to be paid.

What are we doing?  We're opening a Blu-ray, pop-culture store in Indooroopilly.  We'll be suppling the western suburbs with anime, manga and graphic novels.  Oh and we'll be selling cheap(er) t-shirts from movies, television, games and comics.  AND I'll be screenprinting in the back.  (Not the fancy, smancy screenprinting, but the print out and iron on printing.  The technology is catching up.)  Also we'll have a website up and runny, eventually.  (He keeps saying the end of this week and I keep laughing.  What gives me the right to laugh?  I'm the webmaster.)

And this is why I'm dreading uni starting up again.  Everything's happening at bad times and everything is behind schedule.

So I'm not dead and it's not like I'm not working on art.  It's just... I can't show you yet.  I'm not the type of person can go waving around WIPs, even though people keep doing that for me despite my protests.
