Oh, man, I hear you, I hear you. My animation and concept work have really been in a slump lately too...>_<...and I don't really even have free time to write either aside from huge gigantic papers of liberal arts doom. Doh.

But, luckily, my semester will be over in a few weeks, and I'll be off for the summer and doing something OTHER than living in the cave with Maya...>.>...so I keep on chugging along as best as I can I guess.

Oh, and Apollo Justice= Luvz. I had so much fun playing it, even if I do admit that I've played so many Ace Attorney games that they're no longer much of a challenge...still fun enough.

I'm only at the beginning of my living in a cave with Maya year since this is our final year and we have glorious animations to produce this year. XD I'm jealous of you and your summer.

Yeah, well, technically it's my last "normal" summer coming up, dear. >_> Between Junior and Senior year, most people either A) Buy a computer and Maya, and model things like enviroment for their Senior thesis because our school doesn't take much time to put it in the pipeline right now, or B) If they're lucky, they have an internship someplace for the summer and devote their time to that.

Unless of course, I'm able to transfer into my school's game art and design major, which would require I repeat my sophmore year. I wouldn't mind that, because frankly my interests have been gravitating more towards gaming than film, and part of me feels like I need another chance at what sophmore year teaches you because I've just been fumbling like hell this year. I suppose I'll see, I won't know my options for sure until after school ends in May.

You know I meant to model things and animate things during the summer break for my portfolio and showreel... and I got nowhere. Kithal decided he didn't like working anymore and spent nearly my entire break unemployed. He is a terrible source of procrastination, especially when you have a Wii and PS3. Alas, I only got a couple of model sheets done and nothing else.

Gaming's not bad, but it's not for me. So more power to you if you decide it's more for you. I changed majors and departments 3 times at Rice and finally decided "Stuff it! I'm going to an art school!" Now I think college purposely tries to push you so far in the wrong direction so they can get extra years out of you. But me, I'm very content now with 3D film.
