Semester's finishing up. I thought I was finished, but my stupid community engagement project still needs work. I pissed because I did a total of four animation sequence which I worked my butt off doing and the film students decided that three of them didn't end up working into the story of the doco. I do agree with them, but (a) they could've directed the questions better or (b) told me four weeks ago when I asked if the sequences will be used to make sure I wasn't do unnecessary work instead of lying to me. Afterall, I had absolutely no idea what direction the interviews ended up going in. Only one interview ended up being instate and that interview was done the same weekend as the Ed Hooks workshop.

So yeah, the animation in the later sequences is 100x better than the lack of animation in the title sequence (all stills). I made end up posting those sequences up here, especially the fight scene since I did put a lot of effort in those. I'm sort of iffy about that.

And now is the time I say MP wants to build up her portfolio. She wants more experience modeling. So if anyone can donate character/creature designs - I prefer model sheets (full body front/side) - I'll model them in Maya (and maybe even texture it). Of course it's going towards a good cause - my portfolio! Nah, I have no money. Think of it as the pleasure of seeing your design in 3D. Ha. Oh and I prefer things of the unusual nature. If I wanted a plain looking girl, I could draw it up myself. Now if it was a zombie girl with a half rotten arm... you get the picture. Horror, sci-fi, fantasy... just no pr0n. I don't do pr0n.

If anyone gives me the scientist model sheet that we used for "Harness this lightning..." I will shoot you. Multiple times. With my ray gun. That has harnessed lightning. (SOMEONE mentioned that clip yesterday. It gave me the shivers.)

Oh and I revised my website. I say revised and not revamped, but not much has changed. I just removed the Gallery because it was pissing me off. So right now it's just a blog. Eventually I will put up my artwork. Just have to figure out a plan for it first.
