What better way to celebrate a new printer/scanner/copier than to scan in this classic moment of Engrish that I obtained for my new ID. That's right, what you're looking at is an actual box for a product here in Australia. Have no fear. It was produced in Chenghai.
BTW, the machine sitting on my left is a Canon, despite my love for Epson. The store didn't have any decent Epson machines and the Canon one was on sale. But OMG, I can set the scanner to play music while scanning (on my computer's speakers). Such a cute little scanner. I'll forgive it for the trauma it caused my computer when I plugged it in.
Hah! I've owned two of those now! It's always been my favourite chingrish...I love screaming "Give out light the eyes!"
My second favourite is instructions on how to play chess...one sentence has 'castle' spelled three different ways, all wrong...
Yeah, Canon's instructions and installation could be a heck of a lot better *I remember the instructions to my scanner failed to mention where the USB port was, hell, that you needed an additional USB cable period!* , but quality wise you will love it.
Yeah the cashier at the desk kindly informed us of the lack of cable. We were like WTF!? But since I was basically replacing a very old Canon scanner (older in the scheme of things) I just took that cable and used it. Looks like it works pretty well.
Walking about the four limbs~ Pure, ingenious quality!
LMAO Sometimes you have to wonder how some companies try and cut corners, wouldn't it have been better to hire a translator to give you correct wording than to look silly in the country you're launching your product in?
That's like when Ford released the Pinto car in Italy, where Pinto means "small penis" >.<

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
